Shiao-Hua Kwong Melbourne Clinical Psychologist

Hi, my name is Shiao-Hua Kwong, a Clinical Psychologist who works with adults experiencing a range of emotional and psychological difficulties, with a particular interest in bipolar disorder and mood disorders. I also support people experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship difficulties and other life challenges.

I believe that meaningful change begins with understanding. Therapy is a collaborative process where we work together to make sense of the patterns contributing to your difficulties and develop practical, evidence-based strategies that support lasting wellbeing.

Above all, I strive to provide a therapeutic relationship that is warm, respectful and compassionate, where you feel safe to explore your experiences at your own pace.

You may be seeking support because...

  • Life feels overwhelming or emotionally exhausting.

  • Anxiety or depression is affecting your daily life.

  • Sleep difficulties are impacting your mood and wellbeing.

  • You're navigating relationship challenges or significant life changes.

  • You've experienced trauma that continues to affect you.

  • You're living with bipolar disorder and want to maintain stability and reduce the risk of relapse.

Whatever brings you here, therapy provides an opportunity to understand your experiences, build resilience and move towards the life you want.
